We’re sorry to see you go. To remove yourself from the MediInsight panel list, click on the unsubscribe button located in the email you received or on the unsubscribe link provided the bottom of this page.
2. Why am I receiving emails from you?
Either a friend forwarded a survey to you or you signed up on one of the MediInsight ads on a health website.
3. I filled out a survey a few weeks ago – why haven’t I received my payment?
Here are a few reasons why you might not have received your payment:
- a. Check your email program’s junk mail or spam filter box. Occasionally, the emails containing your gift certificates are inadvertently tagged as spam.
- b. We do not issue payments until our quota for the survey has been filled. Generally, this doesn’t take much time but for some surveys, this could take a few weeks. Thank you for your patience.
- c. You might have begun answering questions but didn’t qualify for the survey.
- d. You didn’t complete the entire survey.
4. How do I get paid?
For every survey you qualify for and complete, we will send you a redeemable Chapters gift certificate by email. Amount will vary depending on the survey.
5. Can I use my Paypal account to get paid?
This option is not available at this time.
6. Can non-Canadians qualify for these surveys?
Currently only Canadian residents will qualify. Plans to expand the survey internationally are on the horizon, and you may be eligible to participate at a later time.
7. Why do I get multiple requests but I don’t qualify or the survey is closed?
Occasionally, in order to meet our quotas, we send out our surveys to the entire panel more than once. Since we cannot identify which of the panel members have successfully completed the surveys, we are limited to sending out to the entire panel each time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please ignore and delete these requests if you have already attempted the survey.
8. How do I change my email address? How do I change my profile?
All of your information is kept private. In order to change your profile or email address, you need to unsubscribe from the panel (use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page) and re-subscribe to the panel with your new information.
9. What does the message “didn’t qualify” mean?
This means that the survey is looking for certain characteristics, such as residents of a particular province or people in a particular age group, gender, or suffering from a specific condition. When you get this message, it means that you don’t have those characteristics and cannot complete the survey. Only individuals who qualify and complete the entire survey will be paid the survey honorarium.
